==Chapter 6=

In the city of Budapest, a full moon cast an alluring blue color down upon the land. The evening was beautiful, truly something to enjoy. Though the moon was casting a blue hue upon the Hungarian city, in reality, the entire state was colored red under Russia's influence. There was a strict sense of control, and unlike the other members of the Warsaw Pact, there was dissent.
Hungary was tapping her cheek sadly whilst leaning over the balcony of her home. Her eyes glimmered intently as she gazed over the city, ultimately looking westward with suppressed hope. She gently pat her cheek and let out a sigh at the silence of the city. While under the Warsaw Pact's grasp, there was a mandated curfew. On such a night of absolute beauty, it was a crime to traverse the city. To Hungary, it was simply a crime to deny lovers an opportunity to spend time with one another under the stars.
“Hey, lo---oser!” a gleeful voice cheered. Hungary's eyes immediately widened, she looked around her balcony in puzzlement, “Down here!”
Her eyes slowly scrolled downward, revealing the fairly unwelcome sight of Prussia. His gaze was strong and his prideful grin intense. Hungary lowered her eyelids with great disinterest and groaned.
In irritation, she asked, “What are you doing here? It's past curfew.”
“I am a country, I have administrative privileges to roam as I please.”
Hungary's frustration further expanded, as she now tapped her fingers down constantly as if playing a piano. “Yes, but I'm a country, and I can't-”
The man stroked his hair back and winked, “So, how is Austria doing?” Hungary narrowed her eyes following Prussia's intense laughter, “Oh, that's right! You can no longer visit him!”
Prussia's obnoxious laughter echoed, but Hungary remained silent and calm. Her facial expression easily conveyed anger, but she refrained from acting off of this anger. The Prussian continued to chuckle for various moments, then finally dropped himself into mere snickering. He rubbed his eye and shrugged at her.
“Oh well, Austria isn't so great anyways. Greatness comes and goes, as history will tell. Unless of course, one refers to the greatness of Prussia—who will always be great and awesome...”
The Hungarian growled softly, “Can I help you, or are you just here to taunt me?”
Prussia opened his eyes and gave her a blank face, then narrowed both eyebrows confidently. He snickered and faced her with both hands on his waist.
“Oh, that's right!” he snapped his fingers, “I have decided to come pick you up, since you are practically single now.”
Hungary gasped and fell back, “Wh- what!?”
The egoistic man spun around and waved his hand, “Get in my awesome car! Only manufactured in East Germany!”
Hungary was still piecing together exactly what Prussia's true intentions were and whether he was joking or truly wanted to start something, but momentarily became lost on another subject. She grunted loudly and took another step back upon spotting his car.
“What the Hell is that thing!?”
“The greatest model the world will ever know—'the people's car'!”
“You're proud of that thing?”
Prussia lowered his eyebrows and grunted, then closed his eyes again, “The model comes with a fine variety of colors! There is the Prussian blue paint, the Prussian white—like my hair, and of course...” he turned to face his own car, “The... brownish-green... sort of gray... color of awesomeness!”
Hungary slapped her cheek, “It's such an unattractive-”
“But it is of German engineering, therefore, the greatest!”
She lowered her eyelids and stood up straight, “Perhaps East German engineering is an exception...”
Prussia shut his eyes and sighed, then pat the hood of the vehicle. “Whatever, just get in the Prussiamobile and we will party it up in Berlin with beer and-”
Before he could finish, Hungary had entered her home and slammed the door behind her. Prussia puckered his lips angrily, then chuckled before grabbing onto the driver side door.
“No matter, who needs her, anyways...”
He opened the car door, which then proceeded to break off. The Prussian grunted and grabbed the door off the ground, then pushed it back into place.

France looked around the conference room with a twitching eyebrow. All NATO members were present yet again, except for England and America. This time Austria was absent, as he technically was not a NATO member. Japan was the only non-NATO member present.
Germany and France were exchanging mutual looks of frustration, making plans would be beyond difficult without England and America present—two of the great powers. Surprisingly, of the two, France was the first to have an outburst.
“Where are those two idiots!?”
The German closed his eyes and growled, “I don't know, but I have things to do. If those two are going to suddenly become absent from their own meetings, I no longer feel obliged to come here in the first place.”
Japan and Italy exchanged glances, Canada momentarily raised a finger and muttered, “I'm sure they'll be here soon...”
France tapped his chin, “Come to think of it, why is Canada and Mexico always absent from these meetings?”
Canada widened his eyes, “I'm here...”
Spain shrugged, “They clearly do not recognize the looming threat of the soviets.”
Again, the Canadian said, “I'm here..!”
The door was suddenly kicked open, revealing a panting England and distracted America. Unlike his American counterpart, England appeared very upset to have been late for another NATO gathering.
“Blimey, I apologize for my absence, gentlemen.”
France smirked and closed his eyes, “Britain, did not expect to see you here today...”
England sat himself down in his usual spot and immediately brought his hands together. He nodded to the frustrated NATO members respectfully, “There was trouble down in the Koreas that America and I had to attend to.” Several eyes were widened upon hearing this, England looked back and forth between faces, France appeared most surprised. “What?”
Germany pushed his thumbs together and tilt his head, “I was under the impression that you two were unable to get along under... most circumstances.”
The two former brothers exchanged glances, America raised his glasses up closer to his eyes while giving England a very serious stare. For a moment, England had almost become lost in his eyes, wondering if this stare was conveying some kind of negative feeling. Ultimately, America turned his head and beamed.
“So anyways! Britain and I were kicking some North Korean ass—I won, of course...”
Japan raised his head, “Are both Koreas dead?”
Germany punched his shoulder, “Why so dark, Japan?”
France and several other NATO members grunted at the news, the Frenchman crossed his arms and gazed at England, “Korea is unified?”
“No, when America says win, he actually means that an armistice was signed.”
Japan raised his hand, “Are the Koreas suffering from injuries?”
Germany turned his head with a glare, “Seriously, Japan...”
“Both households are heavily damaged. South Korea's house has been left with an unrealistic amount of rocks scattered around the floors from throwing.”
France nodded and sighed, “Well, ironic that you finish things up in a Korean civil war, because...” he shrugged and smiled, “I'm having difficulty controlling the Vietnamese brothers...”
America swat his fist into his palm, “Threaten them with nukes!”
England gulped, “O- or, we can consider trying to ease the conflict down there through diplomatic negotiations.”
Germany nodded approvingly to England's simple proposal, “Furthermore, we have received applications from Greece and Turkey requesting to join NATO.”
Several glances were exchanged around the room, everyone but America seemed intrigued by the requests. England caught sight of the man's curiosity and raised an eyebrow.
“America, do you have an objection?”
“Nah, Greece is cool, but Turkey... uh, that's that one place in China, right?”
England smashed his fists down in a fury, “You Americans are all the same when it comes to geography!”
America responded by cracking his knuckles, “Oh yeah? I bet you couldn't tell me where Minnesota is!”
Canada smiled and raised his finger, “South of Manitoba...”
“Who the bloody Hell cares about Minnesota?”
Japan rubbed his chin and looked up toward the ceiling, “I wonder if China will annex both Koreas now that they are weak...”
His German companion crossed his arms, “Seriously, Japan, what is with you and Korea?”
The Japanese man returned a normal gaze, “Both Koreas will not stop demanding an apology from me. I have already compensated them financially.”
At this point, America and England had entered a very fired up off topic conversation about American football. Italy slapped both hands over the table and smiled gleefully at Japan.
“But Japan! If you apologize, you will feel happier!”
Japan essentially dismissed Italy's point, but did not make a sudden move. He blinked once and looked toward Germany, “It is unnecessary.”
Germany returned a simple gaze, that of which contained both disagreement and confusion. Prior and during World War II, Japan had enforced very unorthodox methods of control over Korea. While it was true that Japan had compensated South Korea for those years of suffering, money didn't weigh as much as a heartfelt apology. In the eyes of both Koreas, neither felt that Japan truly expressed remorse for his past actions. It would seem as though Japan wanted to simply bury the past and expected the victims to do the same.
America slammed his fist down, “The Cowboys are the greatest in the world!”
England stuck his tongue out, “Any fool can throw a ball and slam into each other. It takes true marksmanship and agility to kick a ball into a net while under heavy coverage...”
France clapped his hands loudly, “That is enough, we're getting off topic...”
The two sat back down after exhaling, America crossed his arms like a child and turned himself away from England. The Englishman refused to look at America for a few moments, but soon both men found themselves back into their neutral opinions of each other.
England breathed in and exhaled, “Let's discuss the Warsaw Pact...”

In the halls of the Kremlin, Lithuania whistled whilst admiring the many pieces of artwork posted on the wall—much of which featured Russia conquering his enemies. Both his hands were against his back as he whistled. The tune being whistled was that of the old Prussian anthem—something he picked up on whilst living in Prussia's house so long ago.
He passed by an open door while still whistling, but then backed up and peeked inside after silencing his mouth. He widened his eyes and grunted softly, he had stopped to look inside Belarus' room. He had spotted her taking down her Byelorussian flag, which was always planted proudly on her wall. All members of the Soviet Union had their soviet themed national flags in their bedroom, even Lithuania.
He continued to stare at the young woman, still dressed in her red dress. After a few more moments, he grunted and slammed his eyes shut. What's wrong with me!? I must look like a pervert..!
Suddenly, more interest had been enlisted into Lithuania upon seeing Belarus' next action. She dropped her national flag onto the floor, then gallantly raised a Russian flag up. She immediately nailed the flag up onto her wall and nodded.
Finally, Lithuania gave himself away by speaking, “Belarus, what are you doing?”
She turned her head, revealing her very strict face, but did not react negatively to his intrusive presence. She softly placed her hand over the Russian flag and pat it fondly.
“Since I am to become one with big brother, I have put up his flag...”
Lithuania grunted again, swallowed, then smiled nervously, “U- u- uh, sh- I know you have big aspirations and dreams, but...” Belarus very slowly narrowed her eyes, almost demonically. Lithuania gulped, “Maybe you should wait, you know, until you two officially get married?” He rubbed the back of his head, “Uh, and you know, what if there's another person out there who likes you?”
Belarus blinked once, then shook negatively, “I am not into women.”
“What -” he shook negatively very frantically, “No, no, no, no!”
“Once I destroy NATO, Russia will propose to me.”
Lithuania dropped his original thought and widened his eyes again, “Destroy NATO? You?”
Belarus nodded and finally faced him, still with a facial expression much like Germany. She revealed a freakish smirk and dipped her head slightly while shaking her fist.
“If destroying NATO is what it takes to finally become one with Russia, I will scorch the land of the west from plain to plain, city to city...” she shook her fist more rapidly, “I will leave the west in nothing but ash, leaving what remains of the world for Russia to conquer without a struggle. I will do this until I have sweat every last drop available in my body, and then do even more... NATO will not stand between true destined lovers...”
Lithuania stood trembling with a petrified look, “J- jeez, I think he'd be content with you just beating up America or something...”
At that moment, the sound of a door shutting sounded throughout the halls. Both Belarus and Lithuania jolted upward as Russia announced, “I have returned!”
Immediately and almost robotically, Belarus marched forward out of her room. In the process, she stomped on Lithuania's foot. The man dropped his jaw and screamed before jumping up and down constantly with one foot in his grasp.
Russia hung his winter hat up and turned toward his large living room with a smile. Before he could get a single breath out, Belarus had come out of virtually nowhere and faced him. The Russian softly gasped and backed away, then tilt his head with a frantic smile.
“Oh, hello, Belarus...”
Belarus grabbed his hand and looked deep into his eyes, “Did you get hurt in Korea? Show me to your wounds,” she requested before grabbing onto his coat.
Russia swallowed and shook negatively, Ukraine and Estonia had soon entered the room. Lithuania revealed himself moments after the entrance of these two, now limping due to Belarus' crushing footstep.
“I did not enter combat, I am okay.”
Belarus continued to stare into his eyes, but soon released him and stepped back. Russia flexed his arms and exhaled calmly. Lithuania momentarily made his way into the room and raised an eyebrow.
“So, Russia, Finland's 1952 Summer Olympics are coming up...”
Russia gasped and covered his mouth, “I have forgotten!” Russia softly pat Lithuania on the head and beamed, “This will be the first time the Soviet Union competes.”
Several optimistic looks were exchanged around the room at Russia's decision to compete after so long. It had now been 40 years since he had fought for the gold, and now he planned on returning. However, he had special plans for these Olympic games.
“Since we are all good friends and live under the same house, we will all compete under one nation.”
Everyone in the room gasped, including Belarus. She blinked in astonishment at Russia's decision to include everyone else in the games. Of course, this was in reality a good way to wage war on NATO non-violently, as they would do so athletically.
Estonia bit on his finger, “All of us?”
Russia nodded, “We will crush the NATO dogs as one.”

Hungary was later walking down the streets of Budapest in her classic green suit and hat. Her attitude hadn't changed in the slightest, the only joy she could find was from taking walks around the city. Even walks felt uncomfortable for her, as she feared the concept of being watched. It was no secret to her that Prussia had the Stasi secret police lurking all over East Germany—she didn't want to run into the State Protection Authority, or 'AVH' which was the secret police force of Hungary. She had heard stories of the brutality these undercover agents used against supporters of the west.
As much as Hungary wanted to resume living the simple life of spending time with Austria and not having to play a role in military politics, she was under soviet control. She was no longer in control of her life.
Just as she had passed by a convenience store, a very noisy car had begun to stalk her from behind. Much exhaust blew out the back of the car along with the popping engine.
“Hey, Hungary!”
Hungary didn't stop, but she closed her eyes and growled. Prussia had rolled down his window and drove up beside her, then proceeded to drive at her speed. The smirking man snapped his fingers at her and chuckled.
“Hey! I wanted to talk about last night! Why did you so rudely walk off from our conversation?”
The woman didn't respond, in fact, she turned her head away and growled again. Prussia got a smug look and chuckled loudly for everyone to hear.
“You cannot walk away from me!”
Hungary reached the intersection and crossed the street, Prussia came to a stop and grunted. He looked over at the stop sign and shook negatively, then popped his entire body out of the car.
“Hungary! An intersection will not get rid of me! No intersection has ever beaten me!”
About two minutes later, Hungary walked into a park and collapsed onto a bench. She let out a loud groan and stretched her legs out while staring up toward the sky. Much like the night, the day sky was beautiful. The sky was bright blue with the softest white clouds, yet, all she could hear was the marching of the Red Army in her head.
Her eyes quivered immensely while watching a specific cloud move, but the next thing she saw was the blazing red eyes of Prussia, who had jumped in front of her.
“Wassup, Hungary?”
Hungary gasped and jolted upward, “Sweet virgin Mary! Where did you-”
Prussia sat himself down next to her and chuckled, “Looking up at clouds again? How boring your life must be, I pity you.”
She sighed heavily and dropped her head down, “No offense, but if there's something you want from me, can you just take it and go away already?”
The silver haired man grunted with an utmost look of serious, “What? Are you serious? No----o, you're kidding... No one can resist me.”
Hungary had finally stopped growling, but this didn't mean she was happy. She was still beyond disturbed by Prussia's stalking, especially since his stalking almost always came with harassment. Nevertheless, Prussia continued to stare at her with great surprise.
“You seriously want to be left alone?”
“Yes, I'm not happy...”
Prussia softly gasped in awe and dipped his head down somewhat shamefully, Hungary glanced at him for a moment and nodded. The look on his face clearly demonstrated his understanding of the situation, that she wasn't happy under these living standards. Several glances finally turned into a locked stare between the two, Prussia appeared very upset with himself.
“I get it, I understand now...” he muttered. Hungary raised her eyebrows in surprise. The Prussian then raised his head up and chuckled, “It's that time of the month, isn't it?”
“I'll kill you!” she shouted before throttling him.
Prussia whimpered and begged while being throttled, but was soon let go of with a blast of tension rubbing off of Hungary. She leaned forward and crossed her arms furiously.
“I don't like communism, okay? At least not under the form of a dictatorship!”
The Prussian let out a wheezy gasp and immediately scanned the area, praying that no military or government official had heard this. Fortunately, the two were alone together in the park. Even one as usually inept as Prussia understood the enhanced consequences of expressing anti-party zealous behavior.
He covered her mouth with his palm and shook negatively, “Don't say that, you'll be arrested.”
Hungary whipped his hand away and growled, “At least in prison I would be free!”
Again, he covered her mouth and looked around. He then looked her deep in the eyes and shook negatively, for once, portraying a serious character.
“Idiot, don't talk like that, I would be seriously bored if you went to prison.”
Hungary swallowed while looking deep into his glossy red eyes, but for once, she agreed with his words and nodded. She had succumbed to very rebellious thoughts for a moment, but soon came to her realization of how suicidal she was being by expressing such thoughts aloud.
Prussia smirked and tilted his head, “Is this really all over that fool, Austria?”
Her eyes moved left constantly as she thought on about this, she removed Prussia's hand from her mouth and lowered both brows.
“...I don't feel like a free person in my own home anymore. Upon Russia's order, I would be called upon to fight old friends without a say in the matter. I would prefer to leave my warfaring days behind.”
“Don't worry, World War III will never happen. This is a war of thoughts, wimpy blue western ideology against awesome superior Prussian communism.”
Hungary swallowed again and shook negatively, “Thank you for your words of... wisdom... but I want to be left alone until this all blows over.”
Prussia blinked at her a few times, then gave her the usual smirk. Without a say, Prussia grabbed her arm and forced her up from the bench. Hungary gasped and was quickly being forced behind him.
“P- Pruss-”
“Get in the Prussiamobile and let's go to Berlin, I will show you the upsides of communism myself! You'll find partying in Berlin to be much more fun than looking up at wimpy clouds all day!”
“Prussia, wait! I can't go to Berlin with you, Austria would be furious! A- and I have to train for the Olympics!”
Despite her request to stay, Prussia continued to drag her, “You are already the second strongest person in the world. As long as I stay out of the Olympics, you will win all the gold medals!”
Hungary somewhat blushed at this compliment, but returned to her first concern. She lowered her eyelids and muttered, “Austria-”
“Austria will not mind! He will respect your desire to learn about a foreign culture!” Hungary softly gasped at his argument. “It has been nearly a century since we lost fought, let's try and be friends, okay?”
Hungary blinked almost cluelessly at the back of his head, but in such a situation, she came to the very sad realization that she never wanted to admit. Of all the countries she was forced to be allied with, Prussia was likely her favorite.
Prussia walked her to the passenger door of the car and opened it for her, “Get in the Prussiamobile!”
The door then fell off and hit the ground. The two looked down at the door. Hungary lowered her eyelids and looked up at Prussia, who was rubbing his chin firmly. He then grinned and grabbed the door off the ground.
“I- I designed it to do that! Only in East Germany will you find cars with doors that come off!”

To be continued...
Surprise! It's an Iron Curtain chapter out of nowhere, even though I said I was discontinuing this series until the completion of F-Zero: Seppuku. A guy can only handle so much destruction and killing in a story before needing to go back to the comedy world of Hetalia... ...err... well... actually, I don't think that applies to most males, only this male... XD Anyways, this doesn't mean that I'm going to resume with weekly chapters, but I just want people to know that I haven't given up on this story. I'm just trying to wrap up F-Zero: Seppuku and succeed in college simultaneously.

The Korean War has reached an armistice, leaving America and England to finally pack up and go home. They immediately head off for a new NATO meeting, but are running late to the annoyance of both France and Germany. Hungary spends a night on her balcony, fantasizing about living a free life once again and seeing Austria, of whom she still deeply cares for. To her misfortune, Prussia (East Germany) arrives to mock her struggle and introduce her to the Trabant--the not so awesome automobile of East Germany. One conversation leads into another, and before Hungary knows it, Prussia's stalking her through the streets of Budapest. Finally, Belarus gives Russia a heartwarmed welcome home from the Korean front, and alongside each member of the Soviet Union, is surprised to learn of Russia's plan for the 1952 Summer Olympics, being hosted by Finland.

Chapter 5:  Hetalia: The Iron Curtain - Chapter 5
==Chapter 5=
“Ha, ha, ha! Screw you, Reds!” America shouted before chucking a baseball at North Korea's house.
The ball hit the roof of the house, thus causing absolutely no damage. It rolled off and landed before China, who then picked it up and narrowed his brows angrily.
“You are not getting this back!”
America gasped before glaring, “What!? Dude, come on!”
A perfect line had been drawn yet again between the households. The Allies sat back in South Korea's area, while the communist duo remained situated on their own side. China had wasted all of his ammunition, thus leaving the men to fight through more traditional means—with an emphasis on 'traditional.'
China stomped his foot down and grit his teeth, “You cannot win, America! Surrender now or I will be forced to hit you with a frying pan and spoon!”
“Ha! That weaponry is so totally outdated!” After throwing off his bomber jacket and flexing his muscles, Ameri
