EngelReise - Tomako Angel (Farmer)

Tomako Angel is a farmer in the Japanese nation of Imperia. She is 26 and is an only child, due to the impoverishment of Imperia--her parents insist that Tomako stay with them and work with cattle. Her parents are fine with the idea of her finding a husband, though they are insistent that she stay with them at least until age 30.

Tomako is a family person, therefore she doesn't hesitate to do any line of work for her family and hometown. Much like F-Zero: Seppuku's protagonist, Chiya Flower, she does not possess the best of education--mainly possessing knowledge on farm life. Many friends of her family label her as a cowgirl, as she has a natural born talent of befriending horses.

Despite her willingness to stay at the ranch with her parents, Tomako one day hopes to leave before age 30 and find a husband to start her own ranch with in another region of Imperia. The Angel family is one of the most renowned ranchers in Western Imperia, yet they are amongst the poor. Whether the Angel family has an easy year or goes hungry is completely dependent on the total amount of crops they produce.

Thousands of warriors equipped in armor made of steel and leather—black, blue, and gold—stood ready as many sailing ships approached the shore of this massive island. Each ship displayed a red and black flag to represent the European power in which it came. A solid red flag with four black cubes in the top left corner, two horizontal black lines near the bottom. These ships belonged to the known world's most western empire, sometimes referred to as the 'Western Empire,' but best known as 'Swatsland'.
